Weaving process
①Organizational structure
The cotton-like effect of super-imitation cotton fiber firstly depends on the structure of the fabric. Due to the finer fibers and strong capillary phenomenon, coupled with the special-shaped cross-sectional shape, the moisture absorption is better. However, in the fabric structure, in order to enhance its hygroscopicity, it is necessary to design the fabric weave according to the different application fields of the fabric. Sometimes the plain weave is better, and sometimes the twill weave is better.
②Longitude and weft density setting
Due to the special properties of super-imitation cotton fiber, the shrinkage characteristics of the fiber in the finishing process are taken into account. The warp and weft density should be properly designed so that the fiber will fully reflect the thickness and fluffy feeling of the fabric after heat shrinkage.
Dyeing and finishing process
A large part of the cotton-like effect of super-imitation cotton fiber is manifested through post-finishing. Due to the special properties of the raw materials, in order to strengthen the cotton-type effect, it must be processed by the embryonic setting, so that the fiber can fully shrink and the fluffy property is more prominent.
Soft tentering and finishing
Due to the large modulus of polyester, the fabric performance is relatively firm, which overcomes the shortcomings of pure cotton fabrics that are easy to deform and not durable. But the stiffness is too strong and it will be uncomfortable to wear. To make the fabric have a moderately soft feel, the fabric needs to be softened and finished. And in the process of heat shrinkage of the fabric, it is tentered and shaped under the condition that the fabric has been fully shrunk to enhance the cotton feel of the fabric.
Blanket finishing
After finishing the felt, the fabric feels fuller and softer, which further enhances the degree of simulation and wearability.
